Johnson, Lauren

Lauren Johnson is an alumna of Pepperdine University (2012) and a recent graduate of the MA program at Syracuse University in Florence (SUF) in Renaissance Art History.   Her research interests lie in the social history and rise of youth culture in Florence in the early 16th century, and her thesis examined the impact of Florentine giovani on ephemeral art and public festivals.  Lauren is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at SUF.  In the past she has worked at the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura a Los Angeles, and the Civitella Ranieri Foundation near Perugia.
